Behind the Scenes: Mock Interviews for Pre-Health Students

Project Background:

The UTSA Health Professions Office (HPO) hosts an annual mock interview program designed to prepare pre-health students for the rigorous admissions process of medical, dental, veterinary, and other health-related graduate programs. This initiative connects students with real healthcare professionals who volunteer their time to simulate high-stakes interviews. The goal is to build confidence, polish communication skills, and provide a realistic preview of what students can expect in actual interviews.

Originally, this project grew out of a project started by Professor Hernandez. While we were filming video learning modules about the mock interview program, we explored producing a full-length narrative video.
